Practice Philosophy
Our practice is designed to allow you to get the most from your visit. To do this, we emphasize the following:
- Comfort: Our primary goal is to allow you to feel comfortable and secure during your consultation.
- Education: We want you to be armed with comprehensive information as to what can and cannot be accomplished with your surgical concerns.
- Expectation: We will help you to understand what to expect during recovery, as well as the potential risks and complications of your procedure.
We want you to be a partner in your surgery, not just a "patient."
Practice Components
The aesthetic surgery component is characterized primarily by breast, body contouring, and liposuction patients, and complemented by a steady practice of facelift and rhinoplasty patients. Dr. Chick is focused on obtaining the best result for each patient. To achieve this goal, he is familiar with a variety of implant styles, and is capable of performing a variety of surgical procedures in order to individualize each patient.
The reconstructive surgery component focuses on restoring function and beauty after cancer ablation surgery or other trauma. A large portion of this practice component is dedicated to breast reconstruction after mastectomy, and he employs many different procedures to obtain an appealing symmetry and appearance. These may include implants, rotational flap procedures, or microsurgical techniques. Other reconstructive surgery may involve recovery from sarcoma excisions in the extremities, necrotising infections, or after serious burns.
Procedures following massive weight loss are becoming a familiar aspect of our practice. These include circumferential body lifts, leg lifts, breast lifts, and a number of other procedures to restore body harmony.
